Choreography
Times Two Productions is run by renowned choreographer Debbie Astell, an ex-dancer who having started her career with Arlene Phillips, appeared in West End Musicals, Films, TV, Fashion and Trade shows. Debbie is currently choreographing the new series of Shooting Stars on Monday nights at 10.00pm on BBC2. Times Two Productions have also provided the dancers from the agency and Vic and Bob are delighted with their new addition to the cult series. Debbie would like to thank Pett Productions for the opportunity of working with a fantastic team and looks forward to future projects with them.
Debbie was choreographer on "Mrs Henderson Presents”, a film directed by Stephen Frears about the famous Windmill Theatre, starring Dame Judi Dench with Bob Hoskins and introducing Will Young to his first screen role.She auditioned about six hundred young dancers from all over the country and choreographed eleven dance routines for the movie in total, all designed to be as authentic to the 1930’s as possible. Debbie also worked extensively in rehearsals with Will Young, who appears in most of the routines.
Debbie’s extensive background in fashion, dance, theatre and film gives her a flair for any event.
